Crocodile

This crocodile has been in our care since 2019 after being illegally removed from its nest as an egg. CROW confiscated the clutch, but unfortunately, most of the eggs did not survive, as turning reptile eggs causes the embryo to detach. This little one hatched slightly prematurely and has been reared at CROW ever since. He will soon be moved to our wetland, where he will spend the next year while we identify a suitable and safe release site.
